Fresh food made every day
Nico’s Mexican Food on 29th Street opened its doors in 2002. Nicolas’s son, Juan Carreon, owns this location, though his daughter, Karina, primarily manages it. While this colorful building is not one of the oldest Nico’s restaurants, it is still a traditional-style Mexican eatery.
The menu at this Nico’s is very inclusive, offering all your trusted favorites, such as carne asada and various combo plates with refried beans and rice.
At Nico’s on 29th Street, you can dine in, take out, or use the drive-thru. They also offer catering for larger orders. The team is ready to serve you!
Love the food! I’ve been living in Tucson forever, and I can’t start my week better than with Nico’s on 29th. Keep up the great work!
It’s unfortunate that they allow poor services. I placed an order through door dash yesterday. I ordered the nacho supreme with no beans. By the time door dash arrived my food was already warm temperature. Then to open my food there was barely any meat on my nachos. All it was an overload of chips, salsa, pico, and sour crème. I called last night to see if a refund can done. Was told to call today and speak with the manager. She answered while talking to customers in the lobby instead on placing the call on hold. Then she proceeds to say she can’t offer a refund due to the order being placed on doordash. DoorDash shouldn’t be responsible when they’re just a third party service. The money goes directly to the place you order from. I won’t be spending my money there again.
